Maharashtra Jyotirlinga & Bhakti Yatra (7N/8D)

A comprehensive divine pilgrimage covering the five sacred Jyotirlingas of Maharashtra, the blessed abode of Shirdi Sai Baba, and the spiritual heart of the Bhakti movement at Pandharpur.

Day 1

Arrival in Pune / Mumbai – Bhimashankar

From Pune: 110 km | 3.5 hrs From Mumbai: 220 km | 5.5 hrs

You will be picked up from the airport or railway station and driven to Bhimashankar. Visit the Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga, nestled in the Sahyadri hills and associated with Lord Shiva’s victory over demon Bhima. The temple is known for its ancient Nagara-style architecture and peaceful spiritual atmosphere.

Temple Timings: 4:30 AM to 9:30 PM

Overnight stay at Bhimashankar.

Day 2

Bhimashankar to Trimbakeshwar

Distance: 240 km Travel Time: 6 hrs

After breakfast, drive to Trimbakeshwar. This holiest of Jyotirlingas features a unique lingam representing Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh together. Located near the origin of the sacred River Godavari, it is a primary center for ancestral worship and spiritual blessings.

Temple Timings: 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM

Overnight stay in Nashik.

Day 3

Nashik to Shirdi

Distance: 90 km Travel Time: 2.5 hrs

Proceed to Shirdi for Sai Baba darshan. This world-famous pilgrimage site is dedicated to Sai Baba, symbolizing faith, devotion, and humanity. Seek blessings and peace at the Samadhi Mandir where devotees from all religions gather.

Temple Timings: 4:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Overnight stay in Shirdi.

Day 4

Shirdi to Grishneshwar

Distance: 120 km Travel Time: 3 hrs

Drive towards Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga, known as the 12th Jyotirlinga. The temple is famous for its beautiful red-stone architecture and intricate carvings, holding immense spiritual significance as one of the most sacred Shiva shrines in India.

Temple Timings: 5:30 AM to 9:30 PM

Overnight stay in Aurangabad.

Day 5

Aurangabad to Parli Vaijnath

Distance: 230 km Travel Time: 5 hrs

After breakfast, continue to Parli Vaijnath Jyotirlinga. Believed to possess healing spiritual energy, this Jyotirlinga is worshipped as a divine source of health, strength, and inner peace for Shiva devotees across India.

Overnight stay in Parli.

Day 6

Parli Vaijnath to Aundha Nagnath

Distance: 120 km Travel Time: 3 hrs

Proceed towards Aundha Nagnath, an ancient Jyotirlinga associated with the Pandavas and Saint Namdev. It is considered one of the oldest Shiva temples in India, featuring remarkable Hemadpanti-style architecture.

Temple Timings: 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Overnight stay in Hingoli/Nanded.

Day 7

Aundha Nagnath to Pandharpur

Distance: 340 km Travel Time: 7–8 hrs

Drive to Pandharpur for Vitthal darshan. As the spiritual center of the Bhakti movement, the temple dedicated to Lord Vitthal and Goddess Rukmini attracts millions seeking divine connection through the path of devotion.

Temple Timings: 4:00 AM to 11:45 PM

Overnight stay in Pandharpur.

Day 8

Pandharpur to Pune

Distance: 210 km Travel Time: 5 hrs

After breakfast, drive back to Pune. You will be dropped at Pune airport or railway station for your onward journey, concluding your Maharashtra Bhakti Yatra.
