North India Shaktipeeth Yatra (10N/11D)
A spiritually immersive Himalayan pilgrimage through the sacred Shakti shrines of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand, combining ancient goddess traditions, mountain landscapes and sacred river towns.
Day 1 — Arrival in Delhi & Transfer to Chandigarh
You will be picked up from the airport/railway station and driven to Chandigarh, the gateway to the Himalayan Shakti circuit.
Relaxed evening and overnight stay in Chandigarh.
Day 2 — Chandigarh to Naina Devi
Distance: Approx. 115 km
Travel Time: 3–4 hrs
Drive towards Naina Devi Temple situated atop the Shivalik hills. It is believed that the eyes of Goddess Sati fell here, making it one of the most revered Shaktipeeths in North India.
Opening/closing time-4:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Enjoy panoramic hill views and evening aarti.
Overnight stay near Naina Devi/Anandpur Sahib.
Day 3 — Naina Devi to Chintpurni
Distance: Approx. 115 km
Travel Time: 3.5–4 hrs
Proceed through the scenic Himachali countryside to Chintpurni Temple. The temple is believed to bless devotees by removing worries and obstacles, and is associated with the feet of Goddess Sati.
Opening/closing time-opens at 4:00 AM and closes at 10:00 PM during the summer. In the winter, the temple generally operates from 5:30 AM to 9:30 PM.
Evening at leisure exploring local temple markets.
Overnight stay in Chintpurni/Kangra.
Day 4 — Chintpurni to Jwala Devi
Distance: Approx. 55 km
Travel Time: 2 hrs
Drive to Jwala Devi Temple, famous for the eternal flames naturally emerging from the rock, worshipped as the tongue of Goddess Sati.
Opening/closing time-opens daily at 5:00 AM in the summer and 6:00 AM in the winter. It closes at 10:00 PM in the summer and 9:00 PM in the

Day 5 — Kangra Temple Circuit
Distance: Approx. 40 km local sightseeing
Travel Time: 2 hrs
Visit Brajeshwari Devi Temple, associated with the breast of Goddess Sati and known for its deep historical and spiritual significance.
Opening/closing time-Winter Timing Open : 7.00 am to 11.00 am and 12:30 pm to 09:30 pm,

Later visit Chamunda Devi Temple and enjoy views of the Dhauladhar mountain range.
Overnight stay in Kangra/Dharamshala.
Day 6 — Kangra to Katra
Distance: Approx. 240 km
Travel Time: 6–7 hrs
Drive towards Katra in Jammu and Kashmir, the base town for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.
Evening free for rest and preparations for the trek.
Overnight stay in Katra.
Day 7 — Vaishno Devi Darshan
Trek Distance: Approx. 24 km round trip
Trek Time: 8–12 hrs
Begin the sacred trek to Vaishno Devi nestled within the Trikuta mountains. The shrine is revered as a manifestation of Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati.
Opening/closing time-open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Helicopter and pony options are available.
Return to Katra for overnight stay.
Day 8 — Katra to Haridwar
Distance: Approx. 430 km
Travel Time: 9–10 hrs by road/train combination
Travel towards the holy city of Haridwar in Uttarakhand located along the sacred Ganga River.
Attend the mesmerizing evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.
Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 9 — Haridwar to Surkanda Devi
Distance: Approx. 95 km
Travel Time: 3–4 hrs
Drive through scenic Himalayan roads towards Surkanda Devi Temple near Dhanaulti. The temple is believed to mark the place where the head of Goddess Sati fell and is considered a highly powerful Siddha Peeth in the Garhwal Himalayas.
From Kaddukhal, undertake a short 2 km trek to the temple while enjoying panoramic Himalayan views.

Winter Timings (November to March): 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Overnight stay in Dhanaulti/Mussoorie.
Day 10 — Mussoorie & Return to Haridwar/Delhi
Distance: Approx. 85–250 km depending on stay
Travel Time: 3–7 hrs
Enjoy a relaxed morning amidst the hills of Mussoorie before proceeding towards Haridwar or directly to Delhi depending on departure plans.
Overnight stay in Delhi/Haridwar.
Day 11 — Departure
After breakfast, transfer to airport/railway station for onward journey, concluding the sacred North India Shaktipeeth pilgrimage through the Himalayas and holy river towns.
