Day 1

Arrival in Madurai

You will be picked up from Madurai airport or railway station and transferred to the hotel. Visit the Meenakshi Amman Temple, one of the most magnificent temples of South India, dedicated to Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundareswarar. Famous for its towering gopurams, intricate carvings, and vibrant Dravidian architecture.

Temple Timings: 5:00 AM to 9:30 PM

In the evening, attend the temple aarti and explore the spiritual atmosphere of Madurai.

Day 2

Madurai to Rameshwaram

Distance: 170 km Travel Time: 3.5–4 hrs

After breakfast, drive to Rameshwaram. Visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, associated with Lord Rama who worshipped Shiva here after returning from Lanka. The temple is renowned for its massive corridors and sacred wells.

Temple Timings: 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Visit: Agni Theertham, Pamban Bridge, and Dhanushkodi.

Overnight stay in Rameshwaram.

Day 3

Rameshwaram to Kanyakumari

Distance: 310 km Travel Time: 6–7 hrs

Proceed towards Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of mainland India, famous for the confluence of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean. The town is known for its spiritual significance and breathtaking views.

Visit: Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, and Sunset Point.

Overnight stay in Kanyakumari.

Day 4

Departure from Trivandrum / Madurai

Kanyakumari to Trivandrum: 95 km (2.5 hrs) Kanyakumari to Madurai: 245 km (5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Trivandrum or Madurai for your departure. You will be dropped at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
