Day 1 – Arrival in Guwahati → Transfer to Dirang(294km/ 7hours)

You will be picked up from Guwahati airport/Railway station. Begin your journey with scenic mountain roads, riverside views, and the first glimpse of the Eastern Himalayas. Enroute, cross lush valleys and small Himalayan hamlets before reaching the peaceful town of Dirang. Spend the evening beside the river and enjoy the calm mountain air.

Day 2 – Dirang Sightseeing → Transfer to Tawang(132km/3-4hours)

Visit Dirang Monastery, hot water springs, and apple orchards before driving through the breathtaking Sela Pass, often covered in snow and wrapped in clouds. Stop at the crystal-clear Sela Lake and the moving Jaswant Garh War Memorial before arriving in Tawang.

Day 3 – Tawang Local Exploration

Explore the iconic Tawang Monastery — the largest monastery in India and a spiritual heart of the mountains. Visit the giant Buddha statue, local markets, and peaceful monasteries surrounded by prayer flags and snowy peaks. End the day with stunning sunset views over Tawang valley.

Day 4 – Excursion to Madhuri Lake & Bum La Pass

Drive towards the Indo-China border through dramatic landscapes and frozen lakes. Visit the surreal Sangestar Lake, popularly known as Madhuri Lake, and continue to Bum La Pass(optional as you would require permit) for an unforgettable high-altitude experience.

Day 5 – Tawang → Bomdila(180km/6hours)

Return through the mountain passes with photo stops along the way. Reach Bomdila, a quiet Himalayan town known for monasteries, panoramic valleys, and beautiful sunset points.

Day 6 – Bomdila → Ziro(362km/7-8 hours)

Travel towards the famous Apatani tribal valley of Ziro. The journey unfolds through pine forests, bamboo houses, and untouched landscapes that showcase the raw beauty of Arunachal Pradesh.

Day 7 – Ziro Exploration

Spend the day discovering the charm of Ziro Valley — rolling green fields, tribal villages, pine-covered hills, and peaceful countryside life. Interact with the Apatani community and experience one of the most soulful destinations in Northeast India.

Day 8 – Ziro → Guwahati Departure

Drive back with unforgettable memories of monasteries, mountain passes, tribal culture, and the untouched beauty of Arunachal Pradesh. You will be dropped at Guwahati airport/Railway station.
